Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders
via the Peptidwerk online shop.

Deviating terms and conditions of the customer shall only become part of the contract,
if Pepwerk has expressly consented to their validity in text form.

Subject Matter

Peptidwerk offers research-grade products that are intended exclusively
for research, analysis, and laboratory purposes.

The products are not intended for human or animal consumption,
not for medical or therapeutic applications, and not for the
diagnosis, treatment, cure, or prevention of diseases.

Product descriptions, analysis values, and other information serve
exclusively for the factual description and documentation of the goods.

Conclusion of Contract

The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally
binding offer, but rather an invitation to place an
order.

By submitting the order, the customer makes a binding
offer to purchase the selected products.

Peptidwerk can accept this offer by an express declaration of acceptance,
request for payment, order confirmation, or shipping confirmation
.

Peptidwerk is entitled to reject orders in individual cases,
particularly if there are doubts about the lawful or intended
use of the products.

Customer Status

A customer may be a natural or legal person as well as a
partnership with legal capacity.

Insofar as individual provisions of these GTC expressly distinguish between
consumers and entrepreneurs, the respective
regulations only apply to the relevant customer group.

An entrepreneur is any person who, when concluding the contract, acts in the exercise of their
commercial or independent professional activity.
A consumer is any person who concludes the contract predominantly for private purposes
.

Prices and Payment

The prices stated in the online shop at the time of the order shall
apply.

Whether the prices include statutory VAT and what
shipping costs apply will be displayed to the customer during the ordering process.

Payment shall be made via the payment methods offered during the
ordering process. Processing and shipping shall generally take place
after confirmed receipt of payment.

Delivery

Delivery takes place within the delivery area specified in the online shop
using DHL or a comparable shipping service provider.

Stated delivery times are non-binding estimates, unless they
have been expressly promised as binding.

Delays due to customs inspections, governmental measures,
force majeure, strikes, transport disruptions, or other circumstances
beyond Peptidwerk's control may extend the delivery time
.

Transfer of Risk

For consumers, statutory regulations apply to the transfer of risk.

For entrepreneurs, the risk of accidental loss and
accidental deterioration shall pass to the customer upon handover of the goods to the
shipping service provider, as far as legally permissible.

Retention of Title

The goods remain the property of Peptidwerk until full payment of the respective
order.

Right of withdrawal for consumers

Consumers are generally entitled to the statutory right of withdrawal
for distance contracts.

Details regarding the deadline, exercise, return, and legal consequences of
withdrawal are set out in the separate instructions on withdrawal.

Entrepreneurs are not entitled to a statutory consumer right of withdrawal.

Voluntary Return and Refund

Returns, exchanges, or refunds outside of a statutory
right of withdrawal or warranty shall only take place with
prior written consent from Peptidwerk.

Unannounced returns do not constitute an automatic claim
for acceptance or refund.

Insofar as a voluntary return is agreed upon, the
return address, return conditions, and the possible
refund amount will be communicated in text form in advance.

Rights regarding defects and complaints

Statutory rights regarding defects apply.

The customer is requested to check the delivery for completeness,
transport damage, and visible defects upon receipt and to report any complaints
as soon as possible, stating the order number.

Failure to notify does not limit the statutory rights of a
consumer.

For entrepreneurs, statutory duties to inspect and notify of defects apply,
insofar as these are applicable in individual cases.

Liability

Peptidwerk shall be liable without limitation for damages resulting from injury to
life, body, or health, in cases of intent or gross
negligence, as well as in other cases of mandatory statutory
liability.

In the event of a slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations,
liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for the contract,
as far as legally permissible.

Peptidwerk shall not be liable for damages resulting from improper storage,
improper handling, unauthorized use, or use
outside the intended research context,
unless Peptidwerk is responsible for the damage.

Final Provisions

Should individual provisions of these General
Terms and Conditions be or become invalid in whole or in part,
the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

Mandatory statutory protective provisions of the state of their habitual residence
remain unaffected for consumers.

Supplementary regulations regarding applicable law, place of jurisdiction, and
place of performance apply only insofar as they can be effectively agreed upon.
